“Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time”
I'm a community visual artist living and working in Cardiff. I have worked with a variety of groups, including children and adults from different backgrounds and abilities.
Today, I am passionate about the same things as when I was nine, when I made a tiny doll from twigs, grass and pebbles. I see things around me with wonder. I see everything as potential for creation. I still love creating and this passion is what I want to share and have shared with other people. I love the challenge of running art workshops and find it very rewarding. I've had great feedback from the groups I've worked with. I like to encourage, exceed expectations and inspire people.
Regular Art Workshops
cARTrefu - Age Cymru
cARTrefu, which means to reside in Welsh, is a programme run by Gwanwyn which aims to improve access to quality arts experiences for older people in residential care. I have delivered workshops in 8 care homes across Wales and continue to have an involvement with this exciting project. Some of the work produced in these residencies are exhibited in the touring artist cube.
Toddler time -
Welsh Millennium Centre
Once a month I create fun art and craft workshops for toddlers alongside a musician and story teller.
